On Monday February 3, 2019 many members of the fire department participated in a CPR refresher course. This course taught by Paramedic Tim Barnett reinforced the fundamentals taught to the members in previous CPR classes. Members were also introduced to the CPR Pit Stop program. This program teaches a more organized method to efficiently run a cardiac arrest using available resources. Members of the department are required to renew their CPR cards every two years. These life saving skills can help in the event of a cardiac arrest that members may be dispatched to. If you would like to learn CPR, please contact the fire department and we will put you in contact with an approved instructor.
